This page is entirely dedicated to the HRT page, as a quick and easy way to get started.

Disclaimer: TF is for Transfem and TM is for Transmasc. Check Blood Testing aswell.

Transfem

  1. Purely oral route HRT
  2. Transdermal route HRT
  3. Monodosing Injections (EEn is preferred, especially when starting HRT)
  4. Injections w/Anti-Androgens (EEn is preferred, especially when starting HRT)

Purely oral route (TF)

  • Anti-Androgens (AA) (DO NOT TAKE SUBLINGUALLY, pick one):
    • Arvekap (GNRH Agonist, Injected intramuscularly)
    • Androcur (Cyproterone Acetate, check dosages, needs pill cutter)
    • Aldactone (Spironolactone, check notes)
    • Bicalut (Bicalutamide, check notes)
  • Estrogens (pick one):
    • Cyclacur (please only use the white pills, the brown ones can have androgenic effects, most used and most affordable one used for this method)
    • Estrofem and Progynova are not recommended due to shortages and their import prices/fees being too high to even be worth using in the long term (this one is page author confirmed)

Transdermal route (TF)

  • Anti-Androgens (AA) (DO NOT TAKE SUBLINGUALLY, pick one):
    • Arvekap (GNRH Agonist, Injected intramuscularly)
    • Androcur (Cyproterone Acetate, check dosages, needs pill cutter)
    • Aldactone (Spironolactone, check notes)
    • Bicalut (Bicalutamide, check notes)
  • Patches (pick one):
    • Dermestril (check notes and dosage, just so you don't mess anything up)

Monodosing injections (TF)

For syringes, doing injections subq, get any single use 0.3-1mL insulin syringe (26-30G, G is for gauge, the higher the number the thinner the needle gets).

For dosages, check HRT#Monotherapy (clickable, redirects to mono section of the HRT page).

You will also need isopropyl alcohol and cotton or alcohol rubbing wipes (either will do for cleaning the injection spot), then either use the cotton you'll have to cover the spot or get little bandages for that.

  • Vials (clickable link, pick one)

Injections w/Anti-Androgens (TF)

For syringes, doing injections subq, get any single use 0.3-1mL insulin syringe (26-30G, G is for gauge, the higher the number the thinner the needle gets).

For dosages, check HRT#Estradiol Valerate (EV) or HRT#Estradiol Enanthate (EEn) or HRT#Estradiol Undecylate (EU, EUn) (those clickable links are NOT the same as the monotherapy ones).

You will also need isopropyl alcohol and cotton or alcohol rubbing wipes (either will do for cleaning the injection spot), then either use the cotton you'll have to cover the spot or get little bandages for that.

  • Vials (clickable link, pick one)
  • Anti-Androgens (AA) (DO NOT TAKE SUBLINGUALLY, pick one):
    • Arvekap (GNRH Agonist, Injected intramuscularly)
    • Androcur (Cyproterone Acetate, check dosages, needs pill cutter)
    • Aldactone (Spironolactone, check notes)
    • Bicalut (Bicalutamide, check notes)
